The Funeral Home Locator is probably the most important area in Funeralville.com for consumers. Use the search feature below to search our database of over 23,000 funeral homes in the US and Canada and to find funeral homes in your area. Each funeral home listing you obtain from your search will have contact information, such as address and phone number, as well as links giving you a map of the funeral home's location and driving directions to the funeral home from any address you specify.

In addition, any consumer who has used a funeral home is encouraged to post a consumer review of the funeral home to describe the quality of his or her experience. To post a review, simply use the search box below to locate the listing for that funeral home, click the link that says "Submit a Customer Review" and then fill in the form with as much information as you care to provide.

To read reviews by other consumers of a funeral home you are considering, do a search for that funeral home and make sure the box for "Include Customer Reviews in Search Results" is checked.

Search Tips

You can find funeral homes using a single keyword, or by using several simultaneous critera. For Example: Choosing "Illinois" from the States pulldown menu, and typing "Springfield" into the Keywords textarea, will give you all the funeral homes for in Springfield, Illinois.

If you'd like to narrow down your hunt, include additional criteria. With this search you can enter a city, full or partial zip code or area code and the name of the firm that you wish to find. For Example: Choose "Show Lisings Matching ALL of the Criteria" 46203 Davids would give you dealers both in the 46203 zip code, and whose name includes Davids, Davidson, etc. If there is no funeral homes in that one zip code have "Davids" somewhere in their name, no listings will be returned.

For Example: Choose "Show Lisings Matching ANY of the Criteria" from the pulldown menu, and in the keywords field type 46210 46211 4622. This will will return dealers in the 46210 and 46211 zip codes, plus all of the funeral homes in zip codes containing 4622, such as 46220, but also the 14622 zip code. To get better results searching for a partial zip code, put a "Z" before the zip code, as in Z9021, to tell the search engine that the zip code starts with the Z.

Results are sorted alphabetically, so if your search results end somewhere in the middle of the alphabet, it's a good bet that not all listings meeting your search criteria are being displayed. To fix this, you should redo your search and either make your search more specific and/or increase the number of search results displayed so that all listings meeting your search criteria are displayed.

A Few Hints:

• Just type in the keywords, separated by spaces.
• When searching by area code, type the area code into the second box only.
• At the moment, we have nearly every funeral home in the United States, but few in other countries.
• If you do not want Consumer Reviews to be included with your search results, make sure the box for "Include Customer Reviews in Search Results" is not checked.
